Annual house price growth accelerates but rental prices slow

House price growth in London remained the weakest in the country at the start of 2025, with an annual rise in property values of 2.3 per cent, up from a price increase of 0.4 per cent in the year to December 2024.

This put the average house price in the capital at £563,900.
