CBS Sports’ Charles Davis and Ian Eagle will be calling the Week 1 regular season opener between the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Evan Washburn will handle the sideline reporting duties.
The Patriots and Bengals will meet for the first time since the 2022 season. The Patriots fought hard in the Christmas Eve contest but ultimately fell by a 22-18 margin.
The Bengals are coming off a 2023 season that saw them record a 9-8 record. They finished fourth in the AFC North and did not qualify for the playoffs. Nevertheless, a healthy Joe Burrow should help Cincinnati get right back into the top of the AFC playoff picture.
Ian Eagle (play-by-play), Charles Davis (analysis) and Evan Washburn (sideline) are on the CBS call for Sunday's Patriots-Bengals game (1 p.m. ET).

The Patriots are entering the game as a rebuilding team with Jacoby Brissett as the starting quarterback. It’s a tough opening contest for New England, who has arguably the hardest schedule in the NFL.
