The height of the Christmas season is here and many homes will be filled with gifts and food in preparation for the big day.

Over the next few days, its likely there will be plenty of leftovers consisting of everything from dinner to dessert and every snack in between, so you may be tempted to treat your pets to some of them.

While some are perfectly ok in small quantities for your furry friends, there are some common Christmas foods that can actually make our pets seriously ill.
