A fuming online shopper said her Evri parcel was stolen and sold at a car boot sale, as the delivery firm is hit with a string of complaints over missing and delayed packages.
The mum of two from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk was waiting for clothes she had bought to be delivered by Evri - formerly Hermes,- but rebranded after being hit by scandals - when they went missing.
She was shocked to receive a photo from a stranger showing a picture of the clothes, still carrying her name and address, for sale at a car boot sale 60 miles away in Mildenhall, Suffolk.
The Daily Mail reported that the clothes, posted on November 13, ended up there after the delivery driver's wife stole a van load of packages to sell.
"I thought it might be the driver, so my husband phoned him and he said he was at a car boot sale in Suffolk and my parcel, still in its packaging with my name and address on, is being sold," the 38-year-old said.
An Evri spokesperson said the company was investigating the car boot sale claims and added: "We are currently delivering more than three million parcels a day.
"However, like others in the sector, we are experiencing some delays to service due to record Christmas volumes, Royal Mail strikes, staff shortages and severe weather conditions."
Meanwhile, Darren Hilton, 51, who runs a fishery in Essex, told the Mail that Evri has "ruined Christmas", because he has around £800 worth of presents missing.
"Every single order which has been shipped by Evri, I don't know where it is. Where are these parcels going? Have they got a depot for lost parcels?" he said.
One rattled small business owner blasted the firm, saying they should "not be allowed to operate".
The Mirror recently shared a shocking video that allegedly showed an Evri depot filled with thousands of unguarded, undelivered parcels just one week before Christmas.
Footage was captured yesterday by an anonymous woman, which she said showed a large warehouse in Boldon Business Park, Tyne and Wear.
The 53-year-old claimed she was able to freely walk into the warehouse as the "door was open" and "not one person" was inside.
The short video shows hundreds of crates and boxes stacked atop each other stretching back into the warehouse as far as the eye can see.
