Don’t tell Angel Reese what she can’t do.
Barely 24 hours after stunning the red carpet at the Met Gala, the Chicago Sky rookie was back on the hardcourt in the Windy City and putting the New York Liberty to work.
In just her second preseason game, Reese was absolutely electric, shooting 6-for-10 from the field for 13 points with five rebounds and two steals.
It was the perfect bookend for the LSU product who saw plenty of posts online questioning her commitment to playing in the WNBA by attending the Met Gala, despite the fact a number of other athletes were there as well.
After going off against the Liberty, Reese had a simple message for the haters:

Anyone who still isn’t convinced Reese is devoted to playing pro basketball should probably watch those highlights again. Her intensity in a preseason game is certainly notable.
Let’s see what she does when the regular season opens up for Chicago on May 15 at Dallas.
