Ange Postecoglou has singled out Liel Abada for special Celtic praise after a rousing performance in their derby success over Rangers.
The Hoops romped to a 4-0 victory over their Glasgow rivals to extend their lead at the top of the Premiership to five points. Abada netted two first half goals to set them on their way with Jota and David Turnbull adding insult to Rangers' misery, but sparking joy at a sold-out Celtic Park. Attentions now turn to facing Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Since joining Celtic last season, the 20-year-old has netted an impressive 21 goals with 12 assists in 61 games from mainly a winger position, and Postecoglou reckons he deserves so much praise for his impact. He said: "It’s not exactly a pat on the back for me because I could have gone with Daizen Maeda and been rewarded as well.
