Ex-Leeds United boss Steve Evans believes Ange Postecoglou is destined for the Premier League, but does not expect him to choose Leeds United as his next destination.
Leeds have seen their attempts to appoint Carlos Corberan, Andoni Iraola and Arne Slot knocked back, as their search for Jesse Marsch 's replacement rumbles on.
Celtic boss Postecoglou has been mentioned as a possible option, although there has been no indication that he will be leaving Celtic Park any time soon.
The Australian will be aiming to lead Celtic to a domestic treble this term, and boyhood Celtic supporter Evans believes he can't see Postecoglou leaving now, and insists that his next club won't be Leeds.

“I speak to Premier League sporting directors regularly and they all refer to how good his recruitment is. I’ve no doubt the people at Leeds will be looking at him," Evans told talkSPORT.
“Speaking from a Celtic point of view, as a fan since childhood, they must keep Ange. It’s as simple as that. Yes, I think he’ll eventually work in the Premier League although I don’t see it being now and I don’t see it being for Leeds United. But I regard them as one of the top six to eight clubs in British football.
“It pains me to say this, but I went to Leeds’ game at Nottingham Forest on Sunday and they were poor. It’s a huge ask to keep them up, but I’m praying he does because Leeds United is a club deep in my heart now.”
