Andy Walker names the 2 Celtic players 'under pressure' at Ibrox as 'inconsistent' Rangers star called into question

Andy Walker has named two Celtic players he thinks will be under the microscope this weekend - as Todd Cantwell is told to turn up more consistently.

Derby day is never quiet in Glasgow but build-up to the final one of the Premiership season has been far more subdued, with the Hoops already claimed as champions with Michael Beale's challengers not going to move from second. Now it's all about on the day bragging rights in a fixture that the Hoops have been unbeaten in this term.

For Sky Sports co-commentator Walker, he believes Yuki Kobayashi and Anthony Ralston could be two of those in green and white being looked at closely. They are filling in for injured Celtic centre-back Cameron Carter Vickers and right-back Alistair Johnston respectively, and the heat could be on. The former Hoops player told Go Radio: "Celtic are settled, slick, they play a good style of football and you know you are going to get plenty of energy everywhere on the pitch.

"Maybe the one player who will be under pressure is Kobayashi, as he's taken the place of such a brilliant defender in Carter-Vickers. He will come under a bit of pressure, as will Ralston, as they have just come back into the team."

It'll be more derby experience for some of Rangers' January signing like Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin. The former Norwich City man has claimed 'the hunger in the dressing room is going to be real' but Walker isn't convinced by Cantwell's talk.

He added: "Hunger just comes from within when you sign for a big club. My goodness, when you become a professional footballer is there to be the best you can be.

"When I was at Motherwell, I wanted to get in the team and then I wanted to go to a bigger club and there's just a hunger and a drive and a fire in your belly that no one should really question because every week, you are tested against a different opponent and you just want to come out on top. Consistency makes you that better player and Cantwell can be really good, but too often he is average."
