Liverpool defender Andy Robertson says Scotland fans were 'right' to boo the players after their 3-0 defeat to the Republic of Ireland in the UEFA Nations League.
Scotland currently sit third in their group on goal difference after the hammering at the Aviva Stadium, after which the supporters made their feelings clear.
Tartan Army captain Robertson, who played the full 90 minutes, told Premier Sports: "To the fans behind the goal booing us off, completely correct. We know they travel a long way, we know they pay a lot of money and that performance is nowhere near good enough in a Scotland jersey.

“We will need to assess as a team, we will need to assess individually and we have to hit the reset button because everything was good last year, but this year the performances haven’t quite been up to scratch as of yet.
“We knew they were under pressure, two defeats in the first two and they were probably getting questioned. We had to weather the storm, but we didn’t do it.
“We gave them easy corners, (let them) win big tackles, which got the crowd up and that set the tone for the game, and unfortunately we didn’t get into the game until we were 3-0 down. The overall performance was nowhere good enough and not good enough for a Scotland jersey.”
The 28-year-old was awarded the Scotland captaincy in 2018 and it's a role he's grasped with both hands. Manager Steve Clarke praised the Liverpool defender after their win over Armenia earlier in the week.
Clarke said: 'I've got to mention the captain. He was outstanding. He was outstanding in the dressing room before the game. Being a captain and leader is something Andy has grown into.
"It's something which doesn't get mentioned as often as it should do. Captains are important at this time in the dressing room. People you are looking to step up."
