The National Football League came down hard on Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes for their criticism of officials after the team lost to the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.
The comments were sparked because of an offside call on WR Kadarius Toney that negated what appeared to be a spectacular play by Travis Kelce and a possible game-winning score.
The coach and quarterback railed at officials for the calls and that will prove as costly off the field as the penalty was at Arrowhead.
Reid has been fined $100,000. Mahomes will be docked $50,000.
