ANDY Burnham has rejected former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's call for an independent inquiry into the UK Government’s complicity in the Gaza genocide.

Corbyn wrote to Burnham, who replaced Keir Starmer as Prime Minister in July, calling on asking him to back his Private Member's Bill for a Chilcot-style inquiry and would investigate the UK Government’s military, economic or political co-operation with Israel since its onslaught on Gaza began in October 2023.
