Leeds United's chairman and majority owner Andrea Radrizzani has issued a grounded message amid the euphoria surrounding the club's 2-1 win over Liverpool. Jesse Marsch's side picked up a first victory in nine games thanks to Crysencio Summerville's 89th minute winner.
Rodrigo opened the scoring at Anfield after just four minutes following a Joe Gomez blunder, with Mo Salah equalising ten minutes later. Summerville's second goal in as many games lifts the club out of the relegation places and up to 15th in the table.
While clearly happy that Leeds had won, Radrizzani was not getting carried away following tonight's result. He acknowledged the club's good performances in recent weeks, which ultimately ended without victory - as also noted before the game by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Tweeting to his 160,000 followers, he said: "We were not rubbish last week and we are not champions tonight.
"It's a long journey, working and improving TOGETHER game by game, as always have been in these 6 years since I had the honour to join this unique club."
Radrizzani has been involved at Elland Road since January 2017 and has overseen the club's long-awaited return to the top flight. He also owns international broadcaster Eleven Sports.
