An international wine fair is coming to Swansea in June

We all know Swansea and wine go hand-in-hand – just have a look at Wind Street on Beaujolais Day each November - but there’s a new wine event coming to town this summer.

Hosted by Swansea-based wine seller, N.D. John Wine Merchants, the new “Swansea International Wine Fair 2022” has just been announced and promises to transform the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea city centre into a “wine, beer and spirits wonderland”.

Top champagnes will be served, as well as fine wines from France, Italy, Spain and Wales, alongside local beers and gins, organisers say.

Guests will be able to try “unlimited samples” throughout the evening event and will also be able purchase their favourite wines and beverages if they so choose.

Tickets are £20 per person and the event will run from 6.30pm to 10pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022.

The event has been publicised on the N.D. John Wine Merchants’ website. The description for the event reads: “Swansea's biggest wine tasting!

“On Saturday 11th June, The National Waterfront Museum will be transformed into a wine, beer and spirits wonderland – the highlight of every drinks-lover’s calendar. Browse and taste from hundreds of wines on offer – all included in the ticket price.

“Grab a glass and brochure and move from table to table to taste from the hundreds of wines, craft beers and gins on offer. Taste some of the world’s best champagnes, fine wines from France, Italy, Spain, Wales and more, local craft beers and gins.

“You may just simply come to taste but many of the exhibitors will have special offers on their drinks, so you can treat yourself to your favourites to order for delivery or collection from ND John in Swansea and enjoy at home.

“With unlimited samples on offer, you will be totally spoilt for choice. Get ready to dip yourself in deliciousness and find something to thrill you from your tongue to your toes!

“Tickets are just £20 per person. 6:30pm-10pm. Over 18s only.”
