An awful Kirk Cousins London mural is an unfortunate reminder the NFL sent him to play overseas

This week’s NFL slate is an absolute doozy. We’ve got the heavyweight Eagles taking on their former coach Doug Pederson, now at the helm of the upstart Jaguars. There’s Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs and Tom Brady’s Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. Oh, and lest we forget, Kirk Cousins and the Vikings (-3). will take on the Saints in London.

Wait, what? Oof, that last one doesn’t quite fit the definition of “marquee,” does it? And if Cousins playing a game overseas is bad enough, a mural of the Minnesota quarterback in London Town doesn’t really do him or his likeness much justice either:

Come. On. That is rough.

The only way that mural actually resembles Cousins is that it’s a human being holding a football who is also wearing a purple No. 8 Vikings jersey. The least you could do in a game where Cousins is someone representing the NFL overseas is to put up a mural that actually looks like him.

NFL fans positively roasted the mural that looked nothing like Cousins
