Amir Khan robbed at gunpoint in London

Amir Khan has said he and wife Faryal were robbed at gunpoint during an attack in London. The Bolton-born boxing star says ‘two men’ confronted him and ‘asked for my watch’.

Khan, 35, says he was approached while crossing the road in Leyton, East London. Wife Faryal, 30, was not directly involved in the incident as she ‘was a few steps behind’ Khan, he added.

“Just had my watch taken off me at gun point in East London, Leyton,” Khan tweeted on Monday (April 18) evening. “I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was few steps behind me.
