Dashcam video obtained by a source captured the dramatic moment when American Airlines flight 5342 collided with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River on Wednesday night. The video, taken by a family at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, shows a bright orange flash in the sky followed by multiple fragments falling towards the ground. Voices in the background express shock and concern before the video abruptly ends.
