American Airlines CEO Robert Isom has announced that he will be traveling to Washington, DC, to assess the midair plane collision and provide support to employees affected by the incident. In a video message, Isom stated that members of the airline's Go Team will also be dispatched to the location to assist with the situation.

In response to the incident, American Airlines has established a helpline for friends and family seeking information. The helpline can be reached at 1-800-679-8215, offering a point of contact for those seeking updates or assistance related to the collision.
