Ambulance crews based in northern Lebanon have been mobilized to Beirut in response to the recent pager explosions, as reported by the Lebanese Ambulance Association.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the association announced that teams of ambulance crews from Tripoli and Qalamoun in the north are being dispatched to the capital to assist with emergency response efforts alongside other relevant agencies.
The association emphasized the importance of citizens cooperating with and supporting the work of ambulance crews during this critical time.
The tragic explosions, which resulted in the loss of at least nine lives, including that of a child, and left approximately 2,800 individuals injured, have had a devastating impact on various parts of Lebanon. The southern suburbs of Beirut, the nation's capital, were particularly affected, according to Lebanon's Internal Security Forces.
Additionally, state media NNA reported that pager devices, which were allegedly tampered with, exploded in the towns of Ali Al-Nahri and Riyaq in Lebanon's central Beqaa valley, leading to a significant number of injuries.
