Thousands of Amazon users have reported widespread issues with the website, experiencing page errors and difficulties completing purchases.
Downdetector recorded over 18,000 problem reports for Amazon's site, beginning around 2:15 p.m.
Shoppers complained of various problems including checkout and payment errors, incorrect or fluctuating prices, and issues updating shipping locations.
While reports started to decline shortly after 2:20 p.m., they remained in the 15,000 range.
Amazon has not yet issued a public statement addressing the reported website issues.
