The Prime deals are still coming in fast and to mark the final day Amazon has cut more than £300 off one of its main own brand tech products, the Fire TV Series. The 50-inch model has dropped from £499.99 to just £299 and on top of its new shiny price it has qualities that bat it against Sky and Samsung.
The Fire TV 50-inch 4-series is now £299.99, price shoppers will pay for 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, Dolby Digital Plus and HLG as well as features which make it a competitive streaming TV thanks to its built-in Alexa assistant for seamless voice control and hands-free access to the latest TV series, films, music and apps.
This alone is one feature it has in similarity with the Sky Glass TV although Amazon's product now sits more than £700 less in price, a deal not expected to stick around for long. The 40-inch version of the 4-series model dropped to just £120 but sold out within minutes, so shoppers need to click fast.
The retail giant launched its own version of satellite-free TV's earlier this year, on the back of Sky and Samsung, which lets users watch TV series, films and normal TV channels without having a cable connection. Instead, Fire TVs have integrated software from the usual plug-in Fire Sticks.
The aim is for users to find all their favourite entertainment in one place, with the added luxury of Alexa-controlled voice commands, free and the ability to sync content to all Fire TV devices throughout the house. It's one of the cheapest prices since its launch in the UK.
The Fire TV Series 2 has also made an appearance in the Prime Day sale, which comes in either a 32-inch or 40-inch screen size and goes up in price depending on the display. The model was only launched in the UK this year after a successful host of sales in the US.
