Amazon's budget Sky Glass and Samsung smart TV rival is more affordable than ever after the retailer knocked £100 off the price of the cheapest model in the range for Prime Day.
The Amazon Fire TV has been on sale in the US for several months and successful sales meant it was officially launched in the UK earlier this year. The entry level mode, a 32-inch Fire TV, is priced at just £249 on launch but has been reduced to £149 in an early Prime Day sale.
The 2 Series is the cheapest in the range but the 4K 4 Series versions are also reduced in the Prime sale. The Amazon Fire TV 43", 4-series 4K UHD smart TV is down from £480 to just £249 in the sale.

The 4 Series versions allow you to watch streaming services such as Netflix and Disney+ in higher quality. Sizes range from 40, 43, 50, 55 and 65-inch versions with discounts ranging from £100 to £350 off.
Amazon Fire TVs give access to over one million streaming movies and TV episodes from services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+, as well as channels like apps like Youtube. You can see the deals here.
The Fire TV deals are the first to arrive in time for Amazon Prime Day, which begins on 11 July and runs for 48 hours. Shoppers can expect discounts on everything from vacuum cleaners to headphones in the sale, which is second only to November's Black Friday in the number of discounted products on the Amazon website.
The Fire TV is the latest TV tech to arrive in the UK as providers and technology companies battle for supremacy in the TV market. Sky has recently launched its Sky Glass smart TV complete with built-in streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+. Sky has also launched Sky Stream, a box that allows viewers to watch Sky without a dish for the first time. You can see Sky Stream deals here.
