Amanda Serrano has taken to social media to say she is 'ready for war' as she returns to the gym with a rematch with Katie Taylor next year sure to be on her mind.
The pair fought famously at Madison Square Garden this year when 'The Bray Bomber' took home the win by split decision. Since then, rumours have swirled that a rematch between the two could be in the offing.
But a rematch never happened. In the meantime, Serrano returned to the ring in September, while Taylor outclassed Karen Elizabeth Carabajal in London last weekend.

After the fight, both Taylor and Eddie Hearn spoke about how they want Croke Park to be the venue for Katie's next fight.
With Serrano hell-bent on getting another crack at the Undisputed Lightweight Champion, 'The Puerto Rican Sensation' has taken to Instagram to show that she is back in the gym and preparing for whatever comes next.
"Getting my Legs & Neck Strong & Conditioned!" begins Serrano's post. "I’m looking & Ready for a WAR!"
If Taylor and Serrano were to meet in a highly anticipated rematch, Croke Park would certainly be a fitting venue.
And that's what Eddie Hearn wants to see happen. Immediately after the Carabajal fight, the undisputed lightweight queen's promoter insisted GAA Headquarters would be next up for her.
Expanding on those comments at the post-fight press conference, Hearn said: "We have kind of dug ourselves into a hole now, I’ve said it. It is happening and it is next. Whoever it is, it will be in Ireland."
But the Matchroom boss knows a lot of work needs to be done for the event to go ahead and he is hopeful of securing the fight by the end of the year.
He added: "I would like to be in a position where even by the end of the year we know if that's a reality, Croke Park, because there's a lot of work to be done. Brian [Peters, Taylor's manager] has already started that work going into the September fight but there's still a huge amount of logistics that need to be put in place for a large stadium fight like that.
