Amanda Holden has revealed a TV show she made with her buddy Alan Carr is going to return - much to the joy of fans. Earlier this year, the duo starred in Amanda and Alan's Italian Job on BBC One, which saw them taking on a big renovation project at a crumbling Sicilian home.
Across eight episodes, the pair rolled up their sleeves and worked hard to get the property as they figured out how to use power tools. The show proved to be a smash hit on the BBC as viewers were left creasing up over the friends' antics in Italy.
It has been one of the most-watched factual entertainment shows on the BBC so far this year with an audience of more than 15 million. Following this success, it has been confirmed by Amanda the show has bagged itself a second series.

The 52-year-old posted a video on her Instagram featuring her comedian friend Alan to share the news of their show returning. In the clip, Amanda can be seen on a cherry picker wolf-whistling and shouting at Alan as he walks into shot.
Alan asked what Amanda is "doing up there?", to which Amanda replies she is "practicing". When asked what for, Amanda replies: "The new series of Alan and Amanda."
She is then asked by Alan where they are going this time, but every time she responds, her voice is muffled over by drilling. Eventually Alan gives up and walks away.
The video then cuts to the pair of them standing by a skip and Amanda telling viewers they will "just have to wait and see" where they end up this time. Alan then says the Britain's Got Talent judge is "not bossing him about" this time, but he then dutifully carries out her demand to put a bag of rubbish in the skip behind them.
Along with the video, Amanda wrote: "Over the moon to let you know that the second series of Amanda and Alan: The Italian Job is in the making. @chattyman and I start filming in a few weeks! Exact destination to be revealed soon!!
"Over 15 million of you watched it!! So THANK-YOU!"
