Amanda Holden has given fans another teaser about the second series of Amanda and Alan: The Italian Job which is on its way after reuniting with Alan Carr in a "secret location". The first series of the escapist documentary for the BBC was a hit with fans, and followed the duo as they renovated a crumbling property in rural Sicily.
In series one, which aired earlier this year, Amanda and Alan became "One Euro" homebuyers as they bought their own slice of heaven in the sun-kissed Sicilian hills, transforming the ramshackle property into a lavish holiday home. In addition to tackling the huge challenge of renovating a project of that scale, the Britain's Got Talent judge and her comedian friend immersed themselves into the local lifestyle, exploring southern Italy and making friends with their neighbours.
Now, fans have been sent into a frenzy after Amanda teased a second series of Amanda and Alan: The Italian Job on Instagram. The 52-year-old and Alan, 46, looked the epitome of summer as they posed in the cool shade against a stunning backdrop of Italian scenery.

"After jetting off to a secret location I’m reunited with @chattyman," Amanda captioned the summery snap. "About to slip on our boilersuits for our first day of filming of #TheItalianJob Series 2 #BanTheBidet"
Excited fans of the show went wild in the comments, praising the "comedy genius" duo. "The pair of you made a great pairing for the first series, so excited about their being an up and coming second series," Chris wrote.
Mel said: "Omg loved the first one! Brilliant watch and you two together are comedy genius!! Can’t wait beauts!!"
"Oh I love you two hilariously funny can't wait," Jennifer commented. "Have a fab fab time."
Amanda's time abroad with Alan comes after she refuted claims of a "toxic feud" between herself and This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby. Amanda, who stood in for Holly to present the daytime ITV show with Phillip Schofield a few years ago, has been very vocal about her opinion of the recently-axed host.
Amanda was accused of poking fun at Holly's return to This Morning when she uploaded a video to Instagram on Tuesday (June 6), wearing a similar outfit to her ITV colleague as she started the video by saying "I'm okay". Fans felt this echoed Holly's speech she made on her return to This Morning 24 hours earlier.
After The Sun claimed that Amanda and Holly were "Stars At War" and that they were embroiled in a "toxic feud", Amanda dismissed the story as "completely made up, full of contradictions and just utter rubbish". She accused the newspaper of using "laughable" language to talk about women.
Meanwhile, Amanda and Phil are said to have fallen out during her brief stint co-presenting This Morning whilst Holly was out in Australia for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! a few years ago. According to reports, Phil vetoed her getting a full time role, instead preferring Rochelle Humes.
Amanda recently revealed on her Heart Breakfast show she reached out with an olive branch, asking to meet Phil for coffee in 2019, but he didn't reply. When he announced his departure from This Morning last month, Amanda posted a cryptic "strength" emoji to her Instagram grid.
