Amanda Holden flooded with comments as she and Alesha Dixon dubbed 'friend goals'

Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon have been dubbed 'friend goals' as they were snapped together while filming for Britain's Got Talent. The pair are currently hard at work on the 2023 series which will also see the return of Simon Cowell and a new addition to the judging panel.

It was revealed earlier this week that Bruno Toniolli would be making his debut on the show this year. Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly welcomed the former Strictly Come Dancing judge to the panel at the first audition taping with fellow judges Amanda, Alesha and Simon on Tuesday (January 24).

Bruno, who was replaced as a judge on Strictly by Anton Du Beke in 2021, was only rumoured to be replacing David Walliams on the ITV talent show earlier this month, just after Alan Carr's name was already thrown into the mix.

However, only Alesha has so far addressed David's exit from the show, which she joined in 2012 alongside the TV star and author. Following the first auditions this week, Alesha has paid tribute to her former co-star in an Instagram post, penning: "Thank you @dwalliams for 10 amazing years on @bgt." She further commented in her message to him: "I love you very much and will miss you dearly."

Amanda has, however, shown her support to Alesha with a sweet snap of the pair. The 51-year-old could be seen walking down a pavement towards a car decked out with flags and tassels. She could be seen wearing a long, belted coat with a pair of towering heels while holding onto an umbrella.

She had her arm around Alesha, 44, who returned the favour by placing her arm on Amanda's waist. The singer and TV judge was also wrapped up warm in a long coat which she also paired with a pair of long black boots. She could be seen looking toward her co-star with a surprised expression on her face.

"Girl power @aleshaofficial," Amanda captioned the photo when she posted it to Instagram alongside a red heart. But it was Amanda's outfit choice that caused a distraction for her followers. TV presenter Lucy Alexander was among the first to write: "Shoes to walk in," with a shocked face emoji

@darkhippo8 also said: "Them heels," while @1923foxy commented: "Those heels. Omg." @natalinabennett added: "I think they are holding (holden excuse the pun) one another up so the other doesn't fall. ....those heels are hiiiigh! Still friend goals like to do that."

But others were quick to mention Alan Carr who they felt would be perfect for the show after seeing him on-screen with Amanda in their BBC series, Amanda & Alan's Italian Job.

@karen_fowkes said: "Alan Carr would have been a total legend on bgt!!" @1stunningpersianprincess wrote: "Love your friendship really wanted Alan carr to join you guys he's Soo funny love him." @bluemoon1975 added: "Alan would have been an amazing addition.. Bruno is a no from me…"
