Amanda Holden 'exits' I Can See Your Voice and storms off set over contestant snub

Weeks after Amanda Holden was left open mouthed at a insult fired at her by Jimmy Carr, the two 'stormed off' the set of I Can See Your Voice over a cutting dig made by a contestant.

After proving to be a huge guilty pleasure for many BBC viewers last, the singing guessing game recently returned to Saturday night primetime TV for another series, with Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda and stand up comedian and 8 Out of Ten Cats star Jimmy once again Alison Hammond as one of the celebrity team, with Paddy McGuinness as host.

The premise of the show is that Amanda, Jimmy and Alison, together with a guest singer, help members of the public to try and work out if the singers in front of them are actually good, or miming along to a much better singer, because they're actually terrible.

The latest episode of I Can See Your Voice will go out on BBC One on Saturday night, after Strictly and Blankety Blank, and sees Shout legend Lulu join the panel. And, a teaser for the episode has already revealed Amanda and Jimmy's rather dramatic walk-off after being 'snubbed' by one of the players.

After hearing the singers perform, Amanda and Jimmy attempt to offer advice to the pair of contestants, only for one of them to fire back: "I love you guys but you are no help."

Following the dig Amanda stands up from her chair and follows comedian Jimmy off to the side of the set as presenter Paddy quips: "Off you go, see you later."

Their swift exit follows a scathing dig Jimmy shot in Amanda's direction in the first episode of I Can See Your Voice's new series. Giving her verdict on a student nurse who performed on the show, Amanda said: ""She's a student, universities have theatre groups, after college they go out and sing for entertainment. I reckon she's not necessarily..." before Jimmy interrupted to quip: "How does Amanda know? She hasn't got a GCSE!"
