Manchester United have a number of players out on loan in near and far-flung places this season.
Whether it be disgruntled seniors looking for minutes of promising youngsters gaining their first taste of first-team football, United always have a number of players out plying their trade away from Old Trafford and that's the case this season.
Erik ten Hag has been left impressed with several performances so here is how United's loanees are doing at present:

Amad Diallo
The man earning rave reviews out on loan at the moment is Amad. After a slow start at Sunderland following his underwhelming stint at Rangers things weren't looking promising but since getting a steady run in the team the winger has begun to deliver. Six goals in his last 11 starts is an excellent return which has led to calls for a recall to Old Trafford.
However, Ten Hag has been impressed by his progress on Wearside and doesn't want to disrupt it if he doesn't have to.
Dean Henderson
Though by his own admission he struggled to adjust after so long without regular football, Henderson is beginning to show some good form again at Nottingham Forest. It's obviously hard to impress too much given the relegation scrap the newly promoted side is in and the spankings they're handed on a regular basis, but Henderson has played a big part in the few points they have won.
With two penalties saved already and a string of stops to earn a draw against Chelsea last time out, if Forest have any hope of staying up then they will be on their goalkeeper's shoulders.
Eric Bailly
In what will come as a shock to absolutely no one, Bailly has had problems with injury this season which has seen him drift in and out of the Marseille side. The Ivorian has made just 11 appearances across all competitions.
Alex Telles
Left-back Alex Telles was enjoying a much more fruitful time away from Old Trafford after becoming a regular starter at Sevilla and earning himself a spot in the Brazil squad for the World Cup. However, when playing in a dead rubber against Cameroon in the final group stage game, he suffered a knee injury that ruled him out of the tournament and for the next month of action at the least.
Hannibal Mejbri
Like Telles, Hannibal's World Cup was only brief with a 10-minute cameo in the opening game for Tunisia all he managed in Qatar. He has been faring much better in Birmingham where he has been involved in all 20 matches since making his switch to the second city.
His return from the Middle East appeared to be a boost as he set up the winner for former United man Tahith Chong in a 3-2 win over Reading but three losses since makes it the Blues' only win in the last seven.
Ethan Laird
Similarly to Amad, there have been calls for Ethan Laird to return early from his loan spell in the Championship from some quarters. The right-back has impressed at Queens Park Rangers, starting most matches, and though the assists have dried up recently he continues to be an attacking threat.
Alvaro Fernandez
Spaniard Fernandez is another full-back who has impressed in the second tier this season, with the left-back enjoying his time at Preston North End. An ankle injury suffered in a game in which he grabbed two assists threatened to derail his momentum but he has gradually returned to the starting XI and shown off his versatility by playing further forward as a wing-back as well.
Ethan Galbraith
Galbraith is spending the season at Salford City and has made himself an important figure in the local side's midfield, while also playing at right-back, right-wing and wherever else needed. The 21-year-old has scored three goals including against Grimsby last week.
