Rangers legend Ally McCoist admits he received a dressing down from his mum after going tonto during the thrilling 2-2 draw with Dortmund.
The 59-year-old was in the commentary box for the Europa League corker as the Ibrox side produced another sterling display to secure a 6-4 aggregate win over the German big boys.
McCoist was at his brilliant best throughout the clash but was left incensed by referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz's decision to overturn Ryan Kent's goal to make it 3-2 for a foul on Emre Can involving Alfredo Morelos.
The Rangers legend was discussing horoscopes the morning after the night before when he admitted his easy-going nature could slip in certain situations.
Speaking talkSPORT: "To contradict that, I wasn't too well balanced when the referee disallowed that goal last night.
"Imagine getting a text at half 11 at night from your 94-year-old mother telling you to calm down in commentary."
McCoist was instantly enraged on BT Sport co-commentary duties, stating: "It's staggering. It's a diabolical decision, absolutely diabolical.
""He puts his foot down on the ground (Can), and he kicks him. Morelos takes the area in front of Can. It's Can's fault and he kicks Morelos.
"There you are, no contact at all. It's a scandalous decision.
"There is absolutely no contact that Morelos makes on Can, it's the other way about."
