There are possibly prawns in some products
(Picture: Itsu)Itsu is recalling its Itsu Noodle Soup Veg Gyoza & Greens because some packets contain prawn gyoza, which have not been mentioned on the label.
This means that the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to crustaceans.
The Itsu website suggests that, if you have purchased the product and have an allergy to crustaceans, then you should not eat it.
The specific product affected is the Itsu Noodle Soup Veg Gyoza & Greens (230g), with a use-by date up to and including October 15, 2022.
On its website, Itsu writes: “If you have purchased Itsu Noodle Soup Veg Gyoza & Greens (230g), please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt.”
It added: “No other date codes are affected.”
On the website, Itsu writes that they are “very sorry” for the “inconvenience” that has been caused.
