Jasveen Sangha, known as the 'Ketamine Queen,' has been charged in connection with the death of actor Matthew Perry. Sangha, an alleged underground drug dealer, traveled overseas shortly after Perry's passing, as revealed through her Instagram posts.
Following Perry's death from the 'acute effects of ketamine,' Sangha posted about her travels to Japan and Mexico, showcasing luxurious experiences and carefree moments with friends. Despite the serious charges against her, Sangha appeared to maintain an active social life and exuded a carefree attitude.
According to US attorney Martin Estrada, Sangha allegedly provided Perry with a significant amount of ketamine in exchange for cash. The charges against Sangha include conspiracy to distribute ketamine, maintaining drug-involved premises, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and distribution of ketamine.
Sangha pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles federal court and faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, with a maximum of life imprisonment. Her trial is scheduled for October 8.
Dr. Salvador Plasencia and Kenneth 'Kenny' Iwamasa are also implicated in Perry's case for their alleged roles in providing drugs to the actor. Perry's family has expressed their desire for justice to be served in this matter.
