A counterfeiting operation based in a Brisbane home is at the centre of allegations levelled at a man police believe to be a member of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang.

Police raided the Bracken Ridge home on Friday, allegedly finding equipment to make the counterfeit items as well as fake currency and ID cards, drugs, steroids and weapons.

The 31-year-old man has been charged alongside a 27-year-old woman, with the pair facing allegations of forgery and fraud among other offences.

It will also be alleged documents and identification from members of the public were used for fraud.

The pair are both expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
