NEW DELHI: All-rounder Cameron Green scored his maiden IPL hundred to help Mumbai Indians thrash Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in their final league stage game at Wankhede stadium on Sunday. Despite the big win, MI's playoff fate depended on the result of the final league stage match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and table-toppers Gujarat TItans in Bengaluru.
Green said his side did not enter its last IPL league round game with the intention of improving its net run rate. MI's task of improving the NRR over RRB required an improbable 201 to be scored in just 11.4 overs.
