President Trump has been trying hard to pass his somewhat unpopular tax bill. Senator Elizabeth Warren is the latest politician to publicly share her perspective on why she doesn’t want the bill to go through.
At first glance, you wouldn’t understand why anyone would be against a bill that proposes tax cuts. Trump has even called it “the big beautiful bill.” In many ways, this is so far his most important policy issue. Every president has had at least one. President Biden had his $1 trillion infrastructure bill. President Obama had the Affordable Care Act. And if reports are to be believed, Trump’s new overstuffed bill is going to significantly affect that.
