All the supermarkets cutting petrol and diesel prices - from Tesco to Asda and Sainsbury's

Supermarkets are slashing petrol and diesel prices to help drivers after fuel prices hit record-high levels this year.

The stores have been criticised for not giving drivers a fair deal, putting bosses under pressure to bring prices down.

The current average cost of petrol sits at 182.11p per litre, while diesel prices are at 192.06p, according to the RAC.
