All the important April rule changes as bills will rise from the end of the week

There are a number of new rules set to take effect as from the end of this week - meaning your incomings and outgoings will be affected.

The changes will hit everything from energy bills and cost of flights to the price of stamps, council tax and water bills as the cost of living crisis is set to step up a notch. Increases will start to be applied from Friday, April 1, with new rules rolling into place in the days ahead, reported The Mirror.

There is also some good news, with an increase in pension and the minimum wage also coming into force at the start of the month. There will also be a £150 rebate, a shake-up of Royal Mail stamps and your last chance to claim a winter fuel payment.
