All the freebies parents can claim right now including nappies, wipes and baby food

Being a parent is no cheap task - but thankfully there are plenty of freebies you can claim right now, including nappies and baby food.

You can also get free baby wash and baby wipes if you know where to look, as well as growth charts and baby calendars.

Families will be looking to cut back their spending where they can as the cost of living crisis continues to squeeze hard-working Brits.

Energy bills are rising by almost £700 for millions of households from April, and food is expected to cost the average home £180 more each year.

This is where Mirror Money comes in, as we want to help you keep more money in your pocket - especially if you’re already struggling.

Here we explain some of the best baby freebies you can get right now.

Keep in mind, some of these are only available while stocks last and deals can be pulled at any time.

Free nappies

You can get free Aldi nappies through Netmum (Amazon.co.uk)

New mums and dads can currently claim one voucher for a free pack of Aldi Mamia nappies from Netmum.

The offer is for one full-size pack of Mamia Size 1 newborn nappies.

Signing up to the free Pampers Nappy Club also enables you to get a free pack of nappies every time you buy 10 packs.

There are special codes inside packs of Pampers that you need to scan in order to register each pack you buy.

Then once you reach the 10 threshold, you'll get a free full pack sent to you in the post.

For older kids, Huggies is giving away free samples of its Dry Nites pyjama nappies through its website.

To get your sample, you'll need to tell Huggies the gender of your child, their age and your address so they can send you your sample.

These are for older kids, aged between three and 15 years old.

Free baby wash

Sign up to the free Boots Parenting Club and you'll get a free sample of Aveeno Baby Daily Care Hair and Bodywash.

The freebie is for a 500ml size bottle.

As well as the baby wash, signing up to the Boots Baby Club also gets you eight points for every £1 you spend on baby products.

Boots says it regularly sends out free gifts at key stages of your baby's development as well.

Free baby wipes

Pura is giving away a free 24-pack of its 100% biodegradable baby wipes through its website.

You also get two disposable bags made from potatoes as part of the sample pack - but you do, however, have to pay 99p delivery.

Pura usually sells a box of 28 packs of 24 baby wipes for £22.10.

Free baby food

Emma's Diary members can get free Little Freddie food (Amazon.co.uk)

If you're signed up to the free Emma's Diary baby club - more information on that below - then you'll be able to claim free baby food from the Little Freddie website.

Some of the flavours you'll be able to choose from for your little one include blueberry and banana yoghurt and butternut squash, red lentils and coconut.

This offer is exclusive to Emma’s Diary members so you'll need to use the same email address you used to sign up to Emma’s Diary.

Ella's Kitchen will also send you free vouchers so you can try its products when you sign up to its website.

It comes as part of its free weaning pack, which includes vouchers for pouches and baby snacks, as well as money off other Ella's Kitchen goods and a weaning chart.

Free baby calendar

Sign up to the free SMA Baby Club and you'll be sent a free calendar that covers milestones in the first 1,000 days of your baby's life.

You'll also get personalised emails full of baby tips and regular offers on SMA products.

Free height chart

Bear Paws allows parents to claim a free height chart on its website, so you can keep track of how quickly your baby is growing.

The height chart is free, but you'll need to upload a photo of a recent receipt showing a Bear Paws purchase to get it.

Once you've uploaded your receipt, enter your details including your name and address.

Free baby on board badge

Baby on board badges are free to claim (PA)

Being pregnant on a crowded tube can be daunting, so make sure you pick up a free baby on board badge from Transport for London (TfL).

The idea is that it lets other travellers know you're with child.

The badges are free but you can only order one per households.

Badges can be delivered to any address within the Greater London area, and South East England.

Free baby clubs to join

Baby clubs are a great way to get access to the latest discounts from your favourite stores, and you'll be sent free parenting tips and advice.

We've mentioned Boots above, but one other that is worth joining is Emma's Diary which gives out four different baby packs.

This covers different stages of pregnancy and when your baby arrives, and includes samples of products like vitamins, nappy cream and baby wipes.

To get the freebies, you need to register with Emma's Diary and either download its free app, or download vouchers from its website.

Once you've got your vouchers, or if you're using the app, you can pick up your baby packs in Boots or Argos.

With the Asda Baby Club, you can enter competitions to win free products as well as exclusive offers for parents.

Shoppers will also be notified first for when a baby sale is due to hit stores.

Other baby clubs to sign up for that we haven't already mentioned include Piccolo and Aptamil.
