With the temperature dropping at the start of March, people already struggling to cover the bills will find things even harder. The Government is set to hand out a number of one-off payments that will help people cover their heating and eating bills.
Some payments will depend on how cold it gets others will be based on whether you already claim any benefits or pension. This is also the final month that everyone gets a discount on their energy bills before that scheme ends at the start of April.
NottinghamshireLive has put together a list of all the one-off Department of Work and Pensions payments coming in March 2023.
