All teams qualified for Dota 2 BLAST Slam 6

BLAST Slam 6 kicks off the 2026 Dota 2 competitive season in style, setting the tone for the year ahead.

This $1 million-tournament, set to take place at the BLAST Studios in Malta from Feb. 3 to 15, features 12 powerhouse teams, including reigning The International champions Team Falcons and defending BLAST Slam titlists Tundra Esports.

Nine squads earned direct invitations thanks to their performances in past BLAST Slam events and strong recent form, while three others battled through demanding regional qualifiers to secure their spots.

Here’s the complete lineup of teams competing at the BLAST Slam VI Dota 2 tournament.

The 12 teams will clash in a single round-robin group stage, with every matchup played as a best-of-one—an unforgiving format where every draft and decision matters, especially for fans tracking results or exploring where to bet on esports throughout the event.

The top four teams to emerge from the group stage and play-ins will move on to the playoffs. In a historic first for BLAST Slam, the entire playoff bracket, consisting of two quarterfinals, two semifinals, and the grand final, will be contested in best-of-five series, raising the stakes and rewarding true consistency.

Xtreme Gaming, NAVI, and REKONIX’s road to BLAST Slam 6

Each regional qualifier followed a brutal single-elimination format, where invited teams and open qualifier survivors fought for just one coveted spot for their respective region at BLAST Slam 6.

The Wang “Ame” Chunyu-led Xtreme Gaming cruised through the early rounds with dominant 2-0 sweeps over Cloud Rising and Tearlaments. Their qualifying match against Vici Gaming, spearheaded by Ame’s former teammate and mid laner Guo “Xm” Hongcheng, proved to be difficult. After splitting the first two games, Xtreme pulled off a remarkable comeback in the 92-minute decider, overturning a 17K gold deficit to seal the series and the org’s fifth appearance in the BLAST Slam LAN tournament.

NAVI faced a far more grueling path. They survived three-game matches against Pipsqueak+4 and 1w Team to earn a shot at PARIVISION, who are heavily favored to qualify. PARIVISION punished NAVI’s questionable Game 1 draft that featured Taras “gotthejuice” Linnikov’s carry Pugna, prompting teenage prodigy Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov to drop an “XD” after the 21-minute opener. But NAVI had the last laugh, bouncing back to win the next two games and pull off the upset, securing their third consecutive BLAST Slam main event appearance.

Lastly, REKONIX Saieful “Fbz” Ilham and his all-Indonesian team REKONIX broke the hearts of KUKUYS, led by Carlo “Kuku” Palad, and another all-Filipino team, Execration with 2–1 victories to reach the SEA qualifier final. There, REKONIX stunned Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s Team Nemesis, stealing a 60-minute Game 1 before closing out with a lopsided 31-minute win in Game 2, marking REKONIX’s first-ever qualification for a tier-one tournament.

With the field now set, BLAST Slam 6 promises a high-octane start to Dota 2‘s 2026 season.
