- TransPennine Express (TPE) is set to introduce a new timetable from May 17, aiming to enhance connectivity for passengers.
- The updated schedule will include a new all-night train service operating between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport.
- This new service will comprise eight additional trains, providing hourly connections to the airport terminals.
- TPE will also add an extra weekday stop at Dewsbury on the 8.05am Leeds to Manchester Piccadilly service.
- Additionally, TPE plans to run two extra daily services for a month during the Edinburgh Fringe festival, from 3 August to 4 September.
