
In an extraordinary move amid widespread flight disruptions caused by the escalating Iran–US–Israel war, the United Arab Emirates has activated emergency aviation support plans that will cover all accommodation, meal and rebooking costs for passengers stranded due to rescheduled or cancelled flights across the country’s airports. The decision, announced by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), aims to support travellers facing uncertainty as airspace closures and safety precautions continue to disrupt travel.
