Alison Hammond may have been soaking up the sun in Cannes, France recently but UK fans have been speculating about her possible return as a contestant on a special 'spin-off' edition of the ITV 'must watch' - I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The annual show is expected to return to its original destination of Australia for the 2022 series.

The ITV This Morning presenter made her debut in the jungle in 2010 - the year that Stacey Solomon took the crown on the show. The mum-of-one sharing the spotlight that year will fellow contestants who included Shaun Ryder, Jenny Eclair, Dom Joly and Gillian McKeith.

A special All Star Edition of I'm A Celebrity featuring previous campmates is being planned for broadcast in 2023, reported Birmingham Live, with the spin off show be based in South Africa. It would see former stars return.

On This Morning, Alison's co star Dermot said: "Could Alison be returning to I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here? She's booked."

He later asked: "Would you do it, Alison? Again? Because it was quite tough." He said: "We want you there!" But Alison poured cold water on any hopes of her heading back to the show.

The TV personality, who shot to fame on Big Brother in the noughties, told Dermot and guest Gyles Brandreth: "I don't think I would do it. It was tough to not get a shower. I was missing home as well."
