Alison Hammond drops hint over This Morning future as she addresses show controversy

Alison Hammond Dermot OLeary Phillip Schofield

Alison Hammond dropped a hint about This Morning's future as she addressed the ongoing controversy.

The broadcaster fronted Monday's episode of ITV's flagship daytime programme alongside Dermot O'Leary. It was the first episode since former host, Phillip Schofield, quit ITV.

Mr Schofield stepped away from the channel with immediate effect last week as he admitted to having an affair with a runner while working on the show. Dermot and Alison broke their silence on the story before they discussed today's headlines.
