Alison Hammond broke down in tears as she celebrated 20 years on This Morning.
The presenter was led on a wild goose chase today as she thought she was visiting a prize winner at their home. Little did she know it was all a ruse in order to get her out of the studio and surrounded by family and friends to celebrate her major television milestone.
20 years ago, Alison made her This Morning debut as a celebrity interviewer before becoming the iconic presenter she is today. Josie Gibson led the surprise as she welcomed Alison's Big Brother friends from years ago, former acting teachers and a special message from her son.

The segment took over the majority of This Morning as the team looked back on some of her best moments. Clips included her chaotic interview with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford alongside pushing a model into the water at the Liverpool Docks.
Wrapping up the celebrations, Alison thanked everyone for taking part before emotions got the better of her. She said: "Thank you. I'm really overwhelmed.
"I love everyone and thank you This Morning for giving me the opportunity. I am really overwhelmed by this, to be honest. I've had the best 20 years, every day is like the best and thank you to all the viewers for watching."
Before breaking down, she added: "I just want to make you all happy." Josie embraced Alison as the tears started to flow before cutting back to the main studio.
Viewers watching were also shocked by the milestone as they agreed the time flew by. One viewer said: "Alison’s been on #ThisMorning for 20 YEARS????!!!!" Another added: "Has it really been 20 years? Jeeez!"
A third viewer said: "Huge congratulations to @AlisonHammond on 20 years with #ThisMorning we love you!" A final comment added: "I adore @AlisonHammond. Down to earth. Kind and loving!! She brightens up our lives x"
