Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary are set to be replaced on This Morning in just a matter of days. The programme's usual Friday hosts have been fronting the show this week as they stepped in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Alison, 48, and Dermot, 49, were thought to be staying at the helm of the ITV daytime show for the next two weeks as Holly 42, and Phillip, 61, enjoy their usual Easter break. However, that's not the case and the pair are being replaced from Easter Monday (April 10).
Craig Doyle has confirmed that he'll be back fronting the show next week alongside Josie Gibson after proving a hit with This Morning viewers. He confirmed the news in a post on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 5).

Sharing a selfie of himself and Josie in the ITV studio as well as a snap of the pair in action, with a smiling Craig resting his head on a beaming Josie's shoulder, the 52-year-old Irish TV presenter wrote: "Reunited on the This Morning sofa all next week." Former Big Brother winner Josie then reshared the post with her own followers and said: "See you soon Doyleroo."
Back in December, fans were issuing a demand to This Morning bosses after Josie and Craig hosted some of the pre-Christmas episodes. Taking to Twitter, Mrs T Henry said: "Yay! Josie and Craig. Santa does exist after all".
Michael said: "Josie and Craig, the best presenting partnership we could have on here" and Janette said: "Josie and Craig, my favourites". Sam said: "Hot take: Josie and Craig should present full time."
It came months after Craig had to 'clear the air' with his co-star as he made a confession. As they hosted the show over the summer holidays in August, Craig felt like he had to 'clear the air' with Josie. The Irish TV star started by welcoming viewers to the first This Morning of the week before turning to greet his co-star.
"Good morning, Josie. How are ya?" he asked before Josie looked at him at said: "Good morning, Mr Doyle." As Craig then said it was 'nice to see' Josie again, the former Big Brother winner put a hand on his shoulder and said: "I've missed you!" But Craig replied: "I've got to clear the air. I've got to clear the air, if you don't mind?" He then continued: "I know you've been seeing other presenters..." as Josie burst out laughing, Craig, 51, kept a saddened expression on his face.
"I know... I've been watching," he continued. "It's just one minute we're on the couch hand in hand talking to someone who's married a double murdered and the next your trying Clodagh [McKenna's] fancy BBQ treats with Vernon [Kay]."
Craig added in a faux cry: "It's hard sometimes!" as Josie, 37, replied: "It's not what it looks like... Listen, there's enough love to go around." Craig asked: "Really?" before adding in fake anger "Sharing competition links with Vernon and all the others."
