Alice Evans has publicly shared screenshots of messages allegedly sent from estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd to their eldest daughter.
The 102 Dalmatians actress has also posted an email she claims to be from her ex sent just days before he first told her he wanted to end their marriage in August 2020.
Alice's public social media posts come after Ioan filed for joint custody of the former couple's two daughters Elsie, 8, and Ella, 12, on Friday 15 July, months after the actress applied for sole custody amid their bitter breakup, according to The Mirror.
On her Instagram page at the weekend, on Sunday, the 53-year-old reacted to her estranged husband's joint custody request in which he accuses her of trying to prevent him from communicating with his children.
In the request filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, Ioan also petitioned for his two children to attend in-person therapy and reunification therapy with him pending court-ordered mediation about custody.
Filming herself reading a physical copy of the petition, Alice can be heard telling her 85,200 Instagram followers: "It's basically just lie after lie after lie from my husband in order to take my kids away from me."
She then went on to share a screenshot she alleges was sent from Ioan to their eldest daughter in which the Fantastic Four actor reprimands their child for hacking his Instagram account and threatening to call Child Protection Services.
"This isn't a kind and loving father daughter relationship. A lot needs to happen before something like this can become possible," Ioan writes within the alleged conversation with his daughter.
"I am in therapy. You will need to go back into therapy as well. Until then we cannot move forward like nothing has happened as your actions have been far too serious."
"Anybody see a slight difference in the way my husband is presenting his relationships with his kids and the reality?" Alice captioned the first of three screenshots shared to her Instagram page.
"This is just ONE text. You still all believe him?"
In a separate post, Alice then publishes an email she claims Ioan sent on August 11 2020 prior to the actor telling her he wanted to end their marriage.
In the email, Ioan writes that he loves Alice "to pieces and pieces" as he explains he has landed safely in Australia.
"So…. He returned in August 2020 and told me he was unhappy on the marriage…. But sent me this? Anyone believe NOW that this man is a liar?" Alice began in the caption.
"He is a liar. Jesus. A liar and a perjurer. What sort of person writes these two completely conflicting pieces?
"Stop believing the lies!!"
A third screenshot shared on Sunday shows an alleged conversation between Ioan and daughter Ella regarding the actor's new partner Bianca Wallace.
In the exchange, Ioan explains to his first-born that he needs to take precautions about visiting crowded places with her and Elsie due to living with Bianca who has M.S.
The Titanic actor tells his eldest child a trip to Universal Studios wouldn't be possible due to Bianca recently taking certain medication, and suggests arranging alternative outdoor activities with her and her sister.
The exchange concludes with Ella telling Ioan: "Forget about it then."
"What happens whenever my eldest asks to see her Dad," Alice captioned the screenshot to her Instagram followers over the weekend.
"Some bull**** reason that he can’t. By the way, I have been 50-80% bedbound with fibro for the past 13 years.
"He would say to me over and over when I told him I was sorry I couldn’t come to an event ‘I didn’t sign up for this! I didn’t sign up for life with a chronically sick person!’"
Over on her Instagram Stories, Alice broke down in tears as she flicked through the latest court document in which Ioan reiterates his previous claims that she verbally abused him throughout their marriage.
"I've just started to read this declaration from Ioan. It is utterly disgusting and absolutely packed with lies, saying that he was the major caregiver and that I would get up at 11am and drink," she tells her fans as she films.
"That's just not true, just absolutely not true. I've looked after these girls every day of their lives since they were born. I think I've been away like nine nights.
"He's refused to contact them for the last week. He met somebody else and he left us that's the truth. I just have to go on here and say that you can't say these things about people. I know so much about him and I would not say this."
The Mirror has contacted a representative for Ioan regarding Alice's Instagram posts.
In the recent court filing, Welsh actor Ioan claims his estranged wife "has inflicted serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them."
"In a FaceTime I had with the girls on March 3, Ella said Alice falsely told her that I wanted Alice to commit suicide, and that Ella probably would not have a mummy anymore," the actor wrote in the petition.
"Ella told me, 'Daddy, this is making me very sad,' and, 'if I don't agree with her, apparently I am a bad daughter'."
Ioan also slammed Alice's "false social media narrative" that she was blindsided by the divorce and he abandoned the girls.
He writes in the court documents: "To this day, Alice continues to post false and misleading statements about me on social media. Alice has stated repeatedly that I want nothing to do with the girls, I refused to see them and I abandoned them.
"Alice posted she fears she and the children would starve and become homeless because I refuse to contribute to their financial support.
"None of this is true and I fear that Alice's false social media narrative is constantly being seen by the girls, and repeated to them by Alice."
Ioan went on to ask the judge for his daughters to attend therapy over worries the impact of their bitter split is having on their children.
The actor filed a restraining order against his estranged wife back in February.
He requested Alice, 53, should have to stay 100 yards away from himself and his girlfriend Bianca Wallace, and that she should not be able to contact them.
In the court documents signed on Tuesday 14 February 2022, Alice has rejected all of Ioan's claims and accused Ioan of filing the request as "a ploy to gain some sort of advantage" over her in the upcoming divorce proceedings.
