Alexis Sanchez has sent a message to potential buyers regarding his fitness ahead of a potential Inter Milan exit this summer.
The Chilean forward is expected to leave the San Siro this summer having fallen down the pecking order with the club. He was already competing with the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa for a starting berth and the Italian giants have strengthened their forward options even further.
Sanchez has been joined by former Manchester United colleague Romelu Lukaku - the Belgian having penned a season-long loan deal in Milan. Meanwhile, Inter have also secured the services of Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a free transfer from Roma - an ironic turn of events considering the pair were both involved in an infamous swap deal between the Red Devils and Arsenal back in January 2018.
He could yet face more competition before the end of the transfer window with Inter chasing the services of Argentine forward Paulo Dybala who left Juventus at the end of his contract, although a deal has not yet been announced amid reported competition from fellow Serie A outfit Napoli.
Sanchez has just a year remaining on his contract at the San Siro and has been linked with a surprise return to Arsenal, whilst Brazilian outfit Flamengo have been credited with an interest in his services.
Whilst it remains to be seen where the now 33-year-old’s future lies, he has sent a message to potential buyers over his fitness. Sanchez took to Instagram with a video of himself in the gym appearing to have just completed a personal workout. A caption reading “let’s go” alongside a football and a side timer accompanied the post.

Intriguingly, the forward has not yet made his return to training with Inter Milan despite large swaths of the squad already in action. The Nerrazzuri took on Italian minnows FC Milanese in a pre-season friendly at the weekend.
They ended up recording a comprehensive 10-0 victory with Lukaku himself getting on the scoresheet, goalscoring form that he will certainly be aiming to continue throughout pre-season and beyond.
It remains to be seen when or even if Sanchez will rejoin his current teammates in their preparations. Since arriving at the club on an initial loan deal from Man United in 2019, he has gone on to make 108 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals.
He enjoyed his most prolific season at the club last season with nine goals to his name in all competitions as Inter Milan were just edged out by fierce rivals AC Milan in the race for the Serie A crown.
They did however win the Copa Italia - Inter running out 4-2 victors after extra-time with new Spurs man Ivan Perisic getting his name on the scoresheet twice.
