A historic season of a lifetime for Alexis Mac Allister officially came to a close as an unused substitute for Argentina in Indonesia on Monday.
Liverpool's most recent addition finally drew the curtain on an 11-month campaign in the low key surroundings of Jakarta's Stadion Utama as goals from Leandro Paredes and Cristian Romero gave the visitors a comfortable 2-0 win.
And despite the season ending in less-than-salubrious setting and circumstances, the term 2022/23 will be a campaign that Mac Allister won't ever forget.
