Alert ATC: Chopper near Nagpur runway, IndiGo flight asked to go-around

IndiGo NAGPUR Pawan Hans New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Alert air traffic controllers at Nagpur airport on Tuesday evening asked an incoming IndiGo flight to go around after observing that a Pawan Hans helicopter had crossed the holding point on a taxiway where it was supposed to stop before entering the runway after getting clearance to do so once the aircraft had landed.

The IndiGo Delhi-Nagpur flight, 6E 2066, landed safely in the second attempt.
