Christmas is less than 100 days away and although Halloween is still to come, some shops have started revealing their advent calendars. Aldi has launched their wine advent calendar filled with festive tipples.
The calendar retails for £59.99, which is £10 more than last year’s version due to prices rising in the cost of living crisis. It contains 24 mini wine bottles and includes a variety of sauvignons, chardonnays, and merlots.
For wine fans this may be the perfect advent calendar as it contains limited edition bottles that cannot be found elsewhere. Each bottle works out at about £2.49 each which is similar to the cost of mini bottles normally.
Here's the full list of wines contained in the calendar:
JP. Chanet Original Brut X3 – 20cl
JP. Chanet Original Dry Rose X3 – 20cl
Brut d’Argent Chardonnay X3 – 20cl

The advent calendar will be available to purchase from October 30, 2022. Aldi has a large selection of wine online and instore, some of which have won awards for their quality.
Aldi’s advent is not the only one this year with wine bottles inside but it is one of the cheapest on the market. John Lewis has one for £85 with free click and collect, while Johnnie Walker has a whisky calendar for £49 from Amazon but this only contains 12 bottles.
