Aldi shoppers rave about 'amazing' shampoo that gives same results as big brands

Shoppers have been raving about an Aldi shampoo and conditioner they say rivals a well-known brand. Not only that, but savvy beauty buyers say that it is "brilliant value for money".

Nip into any Boots, Superdrug or major supermarket and you'll see literally rows of shampoos and conditioners. A quick skim along the shelves will reveal hair products promising to do everything from thicken your locks to making them frizz free.

Not only are the shelves full of products with their hair transformation claims, they also vary in cost. However, shoppers at the budget retailer Aldi say they have found a product they not only love but comes in at "a great price".

The dupe comes under the Lacura brand name. Promising to give the user "lustrous shine and softness".

One shopper posting on the Aldi UK Shoppers page said she loved the brand and the hair products and fellow Aldi fans joined in with the praise for the products.

The original poster wrote: "I’ll admit it, I’m in love with the Lacura range. Honestly, this shampoo and conditioner is amazing. My hair has got so much body in it and shiny, smells lovely too. To think I used to spend a fortune on hair and skin care. Aldi I love you".

Agreeing with the statement, one shopper added: "I absolutely love this one, my hair feels amazing". Another said: "Love this shampoo and a great price". While a third replied: "I bought the sh [shampoo] and con [conditioner a] couple of months ago to try and I can honestly say that the product is really good. My hair is super soft. Even my kids love it too."

In fact, the post received more than 600 likes and more than 90 people commented. One person even compared it to a big brand name.

The shopper said: "I’ve been using the thickening one. I have the ‘same’ product from Elvive, I tested the two makes next to each other on end of my finger, honestly could not tell the difference, smell, texture, look, everything was identical, including results".

Another user of the products said: "Love this shampoo. Someone I worked with said to me that I must spend a fortune on my shampoo as my hair is so shiny. They were gobsmacked when I said it was from Aldi!"
